dropheads is a band of three close friends from the east coast of Virginia.

Singer / Songwriter Stevie Ashe originally recruited bassist jake mattauch and drummer Michael Di Costanzo back in 2022 as an outlet to bring his self-recorded songs to life.

Since then, the trio’s music has evolved into the smooth groovin’ cosmic cowboy psych sound they’re known for today, while holding their early garage rock roots close.

After years of sharing the passion for writing and performing music, dropheads now performs for a wide range of audiences around Virginia.
